I am glad this underrated gem has such great reissue. Perfect dynamic, no cracks, superb artwork.

Fantastic quality, worth waiting after so many years. This album is one of the most underrated 90's rock music masterpieces ever. Because The Cult changed their sound on every album, the so called critics didnt rate it fairly then, I am sure they even didn't listen the whole album. It is full of fantastic songs like Black Sun, Naturally High, Joy, Gone, Coming Down. This is very modern and retro sounding at the same time.

The mastering on this is very good! I was a bit trepidations when I saw Abbey Road, I've not cared for very many of their 1/2 speed releases. But, thankfully, nothing is said about that so I'm GUESSING Sean Magee just mastered it directly. The dynamics are fantastic, you'd NEVER know this was an album from the sound wasteland of 1994! And, no pressing issues from the 'dreaded' GZ Media... 😁

I owned the original pressing and sold it a while back for a three digit amount. No regrets cause this pressing is much better (ivory color) the original was made when the industry didn’t give a ff bout vinyl. It was housed in rough inner sleeves which made the records noisy from the first play. So I’m glad they finally rereleased it such a quality pressing. For me, their best by far. Enjoy everybody!

Record sounds great in my opinion. Owned the CD for ages and it is one of my favorite Cult albums I go back regularly. Nice to have it on vynil but - and it’s a side note - I noticed that some re issues like theses have inserts in black n white while I do believe the CD booklet was colored… when you have a good (great?) sounding vynil like this why not go all the way with the packaging?

Musically, one of my top Cult albums....certainly top of everything after Sonic Temple. Lyrically, there are some off-the-rails moments (Sacred Life) but I was SUPER STOKED when this re-issue was announced having sold my original LONG AGO when prices got super stoopid. One of THE ABSOLUTE BEST pressings I've bought this year (100+ thus far). FLAT A.F., not a single sleeve scuff, not a single seam split, and the sound just rocks my system....as it should! HIGHLY recommend.

sounds outstanding apart from Saints Are Down suffers quite badly with sibilance which is a shame. anyone else's the same?

Lovely coloured vinyl. Barely a pop or crack across all four sides. Didn't need to clean. Audio fidelity is very good, I might say outstanding. This is the best this album has sounded. A gatefold sleeve would have made it perfect.

Got a copy from Amazon.es for 35 euros. Amazing sound, a lot of space and dinamics. Scott Travis & Craig Adams makes an stellar rhythm section. That bass it's amazing.

Very impressed with this, wasn't sure what to expect here but so glad I got this. This is easily one of my favorite albums from them. QC all good here as others have noted.

Only minor complaint is that I would have preferred a double sleeve rather than single.
