I hate Ricky Gervais, but this song is sweet. Vocals sound like trying to rip off Richard Butler and failing though.

This Is A Truly Synth pop tune Gem.. 12" Inch Version Is Quite Fantastic... So This 12" Is worth every effort .. For you (If you can find it)
And Even The B-Side Is really Good... And Yes Mr R Gervais can sing...
So Check up this 12" Version..
- I really don't know why people make fun of Ricky Gervais for this, okay so his fashion sense was naff (but then again it WAS the 80's!) but this song is quite simply a nice upbeat melodic piece of new wave synthpop, nothing more, nothing less.
Gervais' vocals at various points show him trying to sound like David Bowie (and failing) but it doesn't really take much away from the song.
The B-Side, however, "You're on My Side" is a much gloomier affair, with Gervais' attempts at haunting vocals failing miserably until he breaks into a power ballad-esque finale, which is actually half decent with a lovely piano refrain.
