Reviews
- One of my favourite jungle boxsets which brings back very fond memories on hearing. "Best Of Jungle" contains a huge selection of lesser known 1994 jungle gems as well as a few anthems from back in the day.
This compilation features a fair few tracks from the Production House/PH Division, White House Records, Proper Talent, No U-Turn and various Stage 1000/Just Another Label camps. And has a couple of breakbeat/happy hardcore tracks on there to, but thankfully on the more tasteful side.
Personal favourites include The Rude Project's epic "Thunder', Mental Power's lush "Dream Sequence", The House Crew's ruffneck "Superhero (My Knight)", Phrenetic's Rebel MC sampling "Creation", DJ Rap's "Spiritual Aura (Ray Keith Remix 2)", Darkenator's "The Warning" and DJ SS' "United".
The less said about Cheetah's "King Of The Swingers" track the better, but it's the only real dud on here.
