- I also bought this record for the Duley rmx after hearing the superb mix cd Theory Of Interpretation from Ben Sims where its featured on.
All tracks are good but B1 really stands out! Deep and funky grooves blended nicely! - Edited 12 years agoIn the background of B2 you can hear these hypnotic strings, taken from Edgar Froese's 'Panorphelia'. I like the implementation; a harder, driving but simple beat-loop combined with a psychedelic experience from the seventies.
- Edited 19 years agoI haven't heard any vocals in the Max Duley remix yet. Max Duley has made a monster of a remix even when the original was brilliant by itself... one of the better Ben Sims tracks around. Max took the original reversed piano loop and put his unique blend of oscillation and melody over it.
- Edited 20 years agoI gave this release a 5 purely for the Max Duley remix. One of his best compositions to be put on vinyl. The vocal and tribal tools he adopts in this track really stand out from what a lot of his 'like-minded' techno producers are trying to re-create. And quite simply there is one hell of a funky groove to it as well; don't dance at your peril.
