This is a great album I bought a copy for $300 and listened to it once with a mate over beers. Definitely worth getting a copy. If I see another copy going for a good price I will get another one because it is that good!! ☺️

Amazing album. I am not a specialist of this music genre, but some of the mid-tempo slower tracks here are among the best of what I have heard of this era. Originals are though to find.

this was the best cd reissue of this classic by buffalo, i always felt the first 3 albums they did where australias answer to black sabbath, really heavy band, in 1977 when they split up there lead singer dave tice moved to the uk and formed the short lived pub rock band THE COUNT BISHOPS.......

An awful pressing with an excellent sleeve. This album deserves better.

On my copy the Akarma label seems to have been plastered on top of another light blue label

Thundering tough 70's hard rock born out of Aussie suburban pub culture. Big, slow crushing Sabbath-like riffs, monster baritone vocals - early stoner rock. Volcanic!.

Restricted to a power-trio plus singer and with a new drummer, the band sounds tighter than before. The guitars are more integrated into the sound and no cover versions are played anymore. The black-magical overtones have disappeared and the band is evidently more confident. Even the compositions are a bit more interesting. The opening Sunrise still is absolutely average, but Freedom begins mysteriously and atmospherically, before merging into the well-known and ruthless sledgehammer style. Till my death sounds like Ten Years After with the brakes on. On side B the monotony unfortunately wins the upper hand, with the exception of Intro, that suddenly boasts great melodic guitar parts and is the best on offer here. Shylock that follows suit is too colourless to excite.
