I have mixed feelings about this album. In one hand, the songs are rocking and fun, with guitar hinting at Alice Cooper Band and New York Dolls rawk, but they're also generic and unimaginative. The vocals have swagger, but they lyrics are embarrasingly dull and probably the thing about this record that has aged the worst. The production hasn't, for the most part, and still bites nearly 50 years later, but some of the studio trickery should have been left in the cutting room.

Worth a spin if you like your late '70s guitar throb or find a cheap copy, but don't spend a life changer. Kinda awesome but meh. Like I said, mixed feelings.

Excellent and criminally overlooked powerpop band from the 70s. Very melodic tight tracks with searing solos, 3 part harmonies and clean vocals were apparently not enough to break this group? How does that happen?!? Pick this up as it’s a fantastic sounding press with phenomenal hooks. Check out phone booth man for an example

The cover art hints this band should sound like The Damned or the like. But, surprisingly Tuff Darts! is very power pop/70's Rock and Roll sounding. Tight band, good singing, rocking production.

Not quite power pop during this time of punk rock in NYC! Still, some killer tracks! 'All for the love of rock and roll'!
