Not dead silent but fine enough. Very good dynamics. This is definitely one of their best songs.- I have the original pressing and this one. This is so much quieter than the original, weird. Had quite a bit of surface noise too which obviously can detract from such a quiet / loud track.
Definitely an upgrade from my CD version!
Also it's 33 1/3 RPM in case not obvious.

No skipping on my copy, so the defect does not concerne the whole Batch.referencing My Father My King (12", Single Sided) ROCKACT10
Some/all copies of this record have a pressing defect towards the beginning of the track which causes the needle to skip

As for all music i listen to, i do like the vinyl-version most. got this vinyl about a year ago, can't believe i never knew 'bout it for all those years!
Hmmm, unbelieveble, whenever you think there's no more effects possible, those guys seem to have lank switches for muuuch more fuzz/ overdrive/ delay you were ever be able to imagine, and as closer they come to the final there's a wall of sound hitting you right in your senses...
For my opinion the best song of those guys - they're using all their goodies& effects. Listen to it& you are ready to fly !
