Little flourishes of Nick Straker's "A Little Bit Of Jazz" on this cut- Fowler's vocal performance is passionate, raw, and all around incredible. Probably the tightest record produced by Eric Matthew. Come And Get my Lovin' is absolute banger.
Edited 4 years agoIncredible lost dance track from 1984, not exactly a weak year for dance singles. Anyone into early stuff from India, Alisha, et al, should be all over this.

Great little mid eighties boogie tune. Definitely on the Inner City/Mantronix tip. Lovely electro break, boogie baselines, and nice vocal to boot. The Dub Mix also pretty raw, 3 minutes of electro breaks till, you finally get the dubbed out baseline.
