Jónsi – Shiver

While not perfect I have to say that my copy sounds wonderful. The grooves are generally dead silent and it sounds super clean and crisp. There are some issues with the outer grooves (crackles and low thuds - not sure what causes that given the disks are super flat) but that all cleans up pretty quick. The sleeve and inners are super high quality and really show how things should be done. Overall it's a beautiful package which I'm very happy to have in my collection!

Know this is basically just a collector's item. Without a doubt the worst sounding record in my collection. Is this pressed on sandpaper or something? Ugh.

Does anybody also experiences a lot of surface noise on this one? For an audiophile edition it sucks lol.

I can concur that the sound quality is phenomenal. Dead quiet wax + detailed and balanced sound. Absolutely great pressing.

I've been hearing a lot of pops on the A-side. Anyone else noticing this? It's not enough to ruin the experience, but it's a bit noticable.

When I pre-ordered my copy, 180gram colored version and black version wasn’t available. When I learned those copies I was little bit disappointed but still didn’t cancelled my order and I received my copy yesterday. Album is absolutely beautiful and press is flawless! Don’t hesitate to get this version!
