Amon Düül II – Wolf City

The bonus tracks don't sound to be from the sessions for Wolf City, like most bonus tracks on other ADII reissues on Revisited. Does anyone have detailed information about these bonus tracks?

Mine has 2 sets of stamped matrices :

Side 1: UAG 29406 A-1U and C 29406 A-1 Side 2: UAG 29406 B-1U and C 29406 B-1

Inner sleeve has: UK PATENT NO. 1,125,555.

Greek vinyl cut are usually s**t sounding! so muddy and blurry and lifeless pressing

Are the Bonus tracks included here recorded in the 90s/00s? They sound completely different to the original album

A psych-prog-Krautrock extravaganza alternating with layered acoustic guitars, fuzzed out wha-wha, choral frenzies, dark funked-up heavy folk freakery & bursts of sweetness & light. One for the adventurous ear. Pretty damn awesome.

This pressing sounds like a dirty pile of garbage to my ears, and what were they thinking with that modification to the cover??? AVOID.

definately one of the ten best records of all the time . hearing this record one can understand what hippie movementand the whole period 1967-1973 is about . Sound is so colourful and original that every song sounds nothing like before or after . when somebody listens the title track wolfcity realises a textured multicolour field unfolds infront of him .
band is not afraid to make experiments . they use male and female vocals , tender or brutal vocal style ,english or german language, synths sitar-tablas ,sound efects remindind train or bubles , gypsy style or-military style ,space sound electronics flute violyn ,electric guitars sounding like church bells .A top masterpiece and a measure to judge other recordings ! the experiments in songs like deutch nepal are so groundbreaking that one can even find proto new wave ,dark and gothic style before these styles are invented .

Top ten of all time. This album is a masterpiece. Even though this version is not remastered, it's clean, clear sound is very welcomed. The poster and inner sleeve with photos, art work and lyrics was a plus, as I did not have them from my 1972 album.

Yes, the US version UA-LA017-F does have a gatefold with a nice print of what might go on inside the brain when listening to " Sleepwalker's Timeless Bridge ". Truly one of the finest head albums of the '70's. This is a masterpiece of music ahead of it's time. Think about the music in 1972 and then give this a listen. You will see.
