Reviews
One of the most important piano albums ever recorded. When you combine the virtuosity of Frahm and the vision or Broderick you know the output will be special. Kning Disk made a beautiful package hear, worth every single penny. One of the most treasured albums I own, hands down.- This is serious 'classical' music. Solo grand piano, played in a number of different ways. Quiet melancholia, stirring, urgent, strident, placid, pacey. Pieces are generally short (none over six minutes) and waste no time asserting themselves. The restlessness of the tempi and variety of material on show make this a poor choice for background listening. It demands your attention and and rewards those who give it.
