- Edited 10 years agoBesides being one of the biggest releases in the last few years to the New York/Berlin dialogue, not just because of Levon's work but also Steffi's first debut to the scene, the mastering of this piece is incredible. EQ's completely sit smooth as butter on the channels, "Late night Jam" is A potential distortion trap especially after the second break when things get dirty. "24 Hours" rim shots have been vacuumed cleaned
Lupo Lubich polished both tracks 100% club-cuts which took them to the highest level of authenticity. - this record goes repress from time to time without you even knowing. do not pay discogs prices, go for the wishlist or notify me option.
- This release is so amazing that I decided to get two copies - one for spinning, and one for eternity! Highly recommended.
- Edited 14 years agoAdmittedly, I've never even listened to the B side. But who cares? I find it hard to believe that "Late Night Jam" deserves anything less than a 5 regardless of what's on the B-side. Think of it as a one-off. This is the future of house music. In fact, I personally feel this track embodies what pure TECHNO is all about. It's serious and fun, builds and punishes. It has rhythm! It scares the $#!+ out of you while you dance uncontrollably. I'm confident it would fit into a techno DJ set, especially as everyone is slowing it down these days. I could check if it's done so already, but I'm too lazy.
I apologize if this comment is unhelpful. I just LOVE this track, and cannot recommend it enough.
