Notes
Journey's seventh album, and their only full soundtrack album, released in December of 1980. The album is the soundtrack to the Japanese film Yume, Yume No Ato, and primarily consists of instrumental pieces, alternating between progressive rock pieces and traditional classical film score pieces: only three songs have vocals. The album did not chart, and only the final track, "Little Girl", has appeared outside of this album.

As a Journey fan who was buying all their albums from 1978 on, I am almost certain that this 1980 album was only available in the USA as a Japanese import, and then a Half-Speed Mastered LP, until it was finally issued in the USA on Columbia as a budget priced LP and cassette in 1986 (which is shown in these listings, but naturally shows a 1980 publishing date). Any other ideas? Little Girl had been released on 45 in 1981 as the b-side of Open Arms. - One of my favorites from Journey as this is totally different from their Escape/Frontiers era. Who would've guessed that Steve, Neal and the rest of these guys could write such write beautiful instrumental symphonic rock pieces. This pressing sounds excellent as well.

There are also versions on cassette, (And for myself LP), that say "The Rafe" on the back cover and "The Rape" on the inner label.
One can only assume this is done for censoring in stores that would refuse to stock albums that display such language. referencing Dream, After Dream (LP, Album) PC 37998
The label is Columbia, not CBS. Please see the images.referencing Dream, After Dream (Cassette, Album) PCT 37998
Does anybody else have a copy of this cassette that has 'The Rape' misspelled as 'The Rafe'?
