From brand new, it sounds (and looks) like some idiot kicked the lp across the factory floor before sleeving it. Disappointed.

This is a great record but please note that on the first couple of spins there are loads of snaps and pops.
It needs the stylus to go through the grooves a couple of times before it's quiet and noise free.
As Mofi would say -the grooves need a bit of a polish after pressing.
Also the spindle hole is too small so really tight fit.

Happy to report for those interested that my copy plays dead quiet throughout, bar maybe one or two clicks, sounds terrific. Maybe I got lucky. Thought the quality of the sleeve was a little on the cheap side though.

Sounds incredible. Especially the longer tracks like Santa Maria and Mighty Sword that suffer some inner groove distortion on the Longitude collection.
