Sounds perfect, some of the flattest records I own, really cool color and gatefold designs

I’m sure this colour sleeve was the original one and the black one came later?

Is that "At the third stroke" by Picadilly line sampled for "Fish"?

The Mr. Scruff album I grew up with, had it on CD in 2002 despite Trouser Jazz being on the shelves of the local record store I had got it from. Glad I discovered that (and his other albums) more recently, but I think the right choice was made when I was 10. So much childhood nostalgia for this!

Later when I was 14 (2006) I got it put on in the school minibus; after a few seconds of Spandex Man it was ejected and I was told "this just sounds like jazz" (apparently that was a bad thing) - ahh I love it when people don't "get" music, it amuses me haha

One of my favourite releases. Amazing Trip-Hop/Breakbeat album with a good sense of humour and plenty of soul. Contains the Proto-Electro Swing classic 'Get A Move On!', which was used in 34392424 adverts as well as guest appearances from UK Rapper Roots Manuva, Radio 1 DJ Mary Anne Hobbs and soul singer Fi in the very lovely track 'Honeydew'. Also love the two cut up tunes 'Shanty Town' and 'Fish' too - Highly recommended.

''Mr Scruff - Get A Move On'' should be named ''Moondog - Lament I, Bird's Lament (Mr Scruff Mix)''
because Scruff just added 4/4kick+bassline (and some sampled shout) into it.
Also ''Honeydew'' is just slowed down ''Spanky Wilson - Love Song'' with some additional rhythm.
And that's the reason why other tracks on the album are weaker.

Repress sounds great on my system, and the 180 g vinyl looks & feels awesome.

Wow do I have love / hate relationship with this album. The album starts off with some of the best nu-jazz tunes this label and artist have to offer. Then, after less than half way through, the album falls into this big pile of crap. I have yet to listen to this whole album in one sitting but I keep popping it in for those two classics Get a Move On and Honeydew. I could honestly play Get a Move on the whole day without getting bored but as far as most of the album is concerned it's just one repeatative mess. There's some British humor mixed in as well, which I just don't get. Mr. Scruff likes little rodents, the ocean and pies I guess. If I was to do it again I would have just bought the two singles and downloaded this album and I recommend anyone new to this artist to do the same with this album.
