Halford – Resurrection

Thi 2 lp 45 speed cobalt & Silver Swirl Revolver century Media press is good.
It may fall just a tad short of original "metal is" 2000 press.
Cover photo cropped in cutting off Robs hands on handle bars, thus a slightly pixilated Rob appears on cover.
Not sure why this was done.
Unless scanned from CD.
OVERALL comparable to og press alot cheaper.

This Record is pressed from the CD. To much compression no dynamic!
Is the original 2000 version also from the CD??

Nothing wrong with this release. The sound is pretty clean and there are 2 bonus tracks indeed. To be honest I had ordered the second-hand british original but later it came out that the record is japanese. Actually I'm really satisfied with the outcome and the sound quality of the CD.

This release is definitely a nice pressing. My copy doesn’t have any unnecessary noise or something that hinders a fine listening experience. Scientifically speaking, we all know that LP can’t sound better than original CD or any hi-res digitised formats. But the tone of this record is mesmerising enough to my ears. Only downside is the blurry cover art, which makes me hesitate to give this record a five star rating.

Anyway, all of Rob's albums are compressed.
I was hoping ... and I can see it's in arrears in stores.

Compared A/B on the same system to a lossless version of the original CD master, this sounds significantly better. Only downside is the cover & interior art is blurry as hell, just blown up versions of low res images as if they were yoinked off Google Images, in addition to the color balance just looking off. Even the logo is blurry!

This og pressing sounds fantastic highly recommended. Great pressing. Killer metal.

First, the bad: this doesn't sound great, just barely ok. Also, as many others said, the cover was apparently sourced from the CD cover, and not from the original photos (or, at the very least, a proper scan of the original vinyl edition, which looks miles better). I'm almost tempted to try and ask them to provide with a replacement cover, properly done. The good? Only that this album is available on physical media again.

Good reissue, looks cool and dead quiet pressing and it’s the God after all.
