- Nice remix but shouldn't have upped the vocal pitch by the 2 semitones. Justine's voice is OceanLab and this wasn't a good idea in my opinion. Dan Stone, Sneijder, Ciaran McAuley, Luke Terry and Unbeat all kept the original vocal...that says it all.

Coming late to the progressive mix. I actually rate it as good as the original to be honest. This one will be getting a lot of plays from me.referencing Satellite (Remixes) (12", Single) 82876 61481 1
An absolute trance anthem from the early 2000's. Featured on countless compilations, radio shows, played globally.
Featured a vocal by Justine Suissa:
My love is like footsteps in the snow... baby
I'll follow you everywhere you go
The pain looks like its come to wake you
But you will never realize
That I inspire the dreams that guide you... baby
(2x)
You're half a world away (you're half a world away)
But in my mind, I whisper every single word you say
And before you sleep at night (and before you sleep at night)
You pray to me, your lucky star, your singing satellite
I follow the winds that bring the cold... baby
I light a fire in your soul
The lightest touch of feathers falling
My love may be invisible
But I inspire the dreams that guide you... baby
(2x)
You're half a world away (you're half a world away)
But in my mind, I whisper every single word you say
And before you sleep at night (and before you sleep at night)

The Satellite (Flipside Vocal) would be super cool if it didn't have the vocal. Awesome production and dark but doesn't fit the vocal.- moonmaniac, what do you say? the above & beyond rmx is beautiful. This is not horrible xD, this is a great trance song...

A Superb production by Tony, Paavo & Jono and stunning angelvocals by Justine Suissa.
Their name "Oceanlab" came from the aquatic nature of the first single they wrote (Clear Blue Water)
and their software "Wavelab".
With all the respect for the original, it is definitely the "Markus Schulz Coldharbour mix" that does it.
It has all the ingredients for a relaxed and superb vocal aftertrack.
The inspiration for the track came when Paavo’s girlfriend was away in Japan and they were missing
each other and, hopefully, describes that long distance love thing. They changed it to the first person
so when they played it live at Passion in Coalville Justine would be singing directly to the faithful!
One of the biggest progressive tracks of 2004!- Edited 19 years agoI have no idea how anyone can slate this tune, its an absolute spine tingler. Maybe they havent heard it played LOUD in a proper trance club. The way the bass cuts out as the vocals start is sheer class and lets you know that something special is coming in the breakdown- which definately doesnt disappoint! That initial drop into the breakdown is magical, and the subsequent buildup has an effect on a dancefloor that has been missing for so long! This is trance the way its supposed to be, uplifiting, emotional, tuneful, and most of all it makes you want to dance! Thanks to the likes of Flip&Fill, real trance has been so scared of sounding cheesy that it lost what made us all love it in the first place. Above & Beyond have done so much to help it find its way again, with tunes like this they're showing that sing-along vocals and recognisable tunes don't necesarily = cheesy! If you're at home chilling out then the Coldharbour remix may be your first choice, but when youre in a club- the place where it REALLY matters- you'll be glad that the DJ dropped the original A&B mix! Trust me, I've seen the results:)

I really want to give all the credits here to Justine Suissa. Her beautiful voice made this track! My preference goes out to the Above & Beyond Original Mix, cause its the most energetic version. Just listen to the break, hear Justine and fall in love with this track. :)
