Sleeves and cover are very beautifully made with new artwork by the original artist Martin Velisek.
But concerning the vinyl I don`t understand why you would unnecessarily spend money on an expensive format like the 2x10" (pressing a ten inch is petty much as expensive as a 12") and then "saving" money in the quality of the mastering/ pressing process. Directly comparing the sound, the original 1990 pressing is clearly superior to this one. The original press has more dynamics/ less compression and less bass. The "bass-shyness" of the original is its only downside, this issue does have bass, but to be honest its a muddy mess. My "Angrr!" copy also has lots of surface noise and pops on A1. The pressing artefacts of my copy might just be singular/ bad luck; the veiled/ muddy sound is very likely due to an all-inclusive-deal with GZ media, so I would speculate the bad mastering was done by GZ? Even though its likely that the original press was done in the same factory in Prague. By the way, I`m generally a big fan of old czech pressings (Panton, Supraphon etc). I usually dont give negative ratings, but since the rating of this issue was higher than the original press, I felt I had to do something to correct that.
