Would have been an even better cd release if the 12" mix of "I work for a Livin'" were another one of the bonus tracks.

The Debbie Harry track is a bit of a vocal disaster but for some reason I’m a huge fan

It's still CHIC, and that is what matters. Pick up the "Kookoo" album. Mostly for "Backfired".

You need to hear the Nile Rodgers 12" mix from the boxed set. BLOWS AWAY this 3:31 version.

Forgettable early 80s movie, but amazing, overlooked totally CHIC-produced soundtrack - amazing that one album chock full of stellar CHIC-helmed tracks by Carl Simon, Teddy Pendergrass, Debbie Harry, Sister Sledge, Fonzi Thorton, and Chic themselves has never been issued on CD?! (Well, at least you can find most of the cuts on the recently released French 4-CD Chic box set) - me, I transferred by original LP to CD yrs ago, so have enjoyed it over & over.
