Elvis Presley – Rock 'N' Roll

I have this copy, labels, matrix numbers, publishers, etc are all the same but my copy has a different back cover layout. The HMV dog is on bottom left and NOT in the centre. The tracklist is the same, there is even the W R W on the bottom right corner, but the text of EMI, long play, etc is different. Anyone has this maybe?

A brilliant track selection. The Sun recordings appear without the extra echo that RCA were fond of adding at the time of this release. There is one ballad,and it’s possible a little overlooked, but I rate ‘I’m Counting On You’. For me it’s up there big the more celebrated Elvis Presley ballads.

The tape on these pictures aren not Italian but they are from a BRITISH release.

Amazing debut album. A must have for any Rock ‘n’ roll fan.

Despite the grey area release, this is a rather lovely item. The sound is clean and beefy enough to give the rock n roll the propulsion it needs; but it also gives Elvis voice the depth it needs on quieter numbers. Along with the second album this makes a nice addition.

I have the UK version CLP 1093 (Matrix: 2XAV 255-1N/2XAV 256-1N) with no dots after CLP (side 1 and side 2) , but side 2 track 6 is numbered. A new entry?

There is a typo on the credits for That's All Right,it should say Crudup rather than grudup for those who are able to edit the credits.

Can anyone tell me why the rear of this album has different locations for the hmv logo and which one was first

There are 13 copies listed for sale atm of which 8 are offered below 100,-€ -- I wonder why one copy was sold for 1400,-€ ??
