A very difficult to find cassette release of the first album with Paul Sampson on vocals and ihe does an adequate job but he's no Bruce Dickinson and then again who is ? Early 70s hard/boogie rock in the vain of bands lke UFO, Spjder and Status Qoe just to name a few Paul's guitar steals the show and i dont know why this band is so overlooked and hardly talked about in nwobhm circles. 3.5/5referencing Survivors (CD, Album, Reissue) CMRCD188
in this edition,all tracks (except for the ones with Dickinson on vocals) are digitally transferred from an old vinyl LP,but the sound is great.tracks 11,12,15,16 &17 are taken from the REPERTOIRE RECORDS/GRANDSLAM versions ,instead 13 & 14 are previously unreleased,and comes from a slightly damaged tape from the Paul Samson personal archive- Edited 6 years ago
