This album deserves a quality repress to drive down the outrageous prices being asked for the vinyl format.

Agreed this is a terrible pressing. I actually don't think any vinyl versions of this album do it justice. I've kept my CD.

Looking for a copy if anyone is interested in selling!

I got this version today at my local record store for 40 bucks. It was at the very end of a crate. I was surprised to see no barcode and no info on the cover or on the records. Can’t compare the sound to the original press, but I must say this sounds pretty crisp. Dope find! Does anyone know what year this came out?

Ahhh Rainbo records your reputation preceeds you, thank funk your gone... this is was the first Rainbo press in my entire collection i broke into... i have promptly sold most. This one is notable for being filthy fingerprinted by some couldnt careless Rainbo plant worker, hairline scratched in many spots, plagued with non fill during first 4mins of side 3 and dimpled here and there to boot. Worst of all is a spot of white overfill which renders side 1 track one a pop fest for 4 rotations. Otherwise the records are at least flat and the packaging is decent otherwise but NO record should ever be supplied in anything other than poly lined inners lacking here which is something not exclusive to Rainbo at least. I own well played 70yr old microgrooves from my grandfather in better shape than this "new" record. All told, even after 2 goes in the Degritter this is a pretty noisy sub par pressing even allowing for the worst defect thst causes the track 1 woes.

Mastering wise then, if i volume match this to the '94 US Cd the mastering here is sadly muted and less dimensional on this and theres no denying the CD sounds clearer, better balanced and more dimensional even on a cheap bottom line Denon player. Of course this has never been a hifi recording and i dont expect it too be but mine will be promptly sold and i will comtinue to rinse the superior CD as usual until i find a NM OG vinyl issue which i expect will have the superior mastering to this woolly reissue. Lets hope they have another crack and remaster it better and press it properly!

Looking for anyone that has just disc 2 sides C&D and is willing to part with it. My copy has 2 of the first disc.

Mine came covered in finger prints on Side A which I wasn't very impressed with. As a result, even after a fair bit of cleaning i still had some noise here and there.

Otherwise, the other sides sounded fantastic, very strong bass. There was brief distortion in the bass on the final track, but could have easily been my speakers or needle

Echo that the sound quality is lacking on this one. Rather unfortunate.
