It was recorded in 2000 but not released by Undercover Rec this year. UR re-released this piece of hell in 2004...- Edited 15 years agoI invite shame unto my blood lineage for giving this record an excellent rating and I'm not kidding. The band is not at all tight and it seems that the members are scrambling to keep up with a pace which they've all lost excepting loose cues into the next segment. But whatever, the music is awesome if some other band could play it correctly, and more importantly: the sentiment is so beautiful. My favorite track repeats "forever ... forever ..." (Jesus, I _HATE_ YOU -- FOREEEVEEER!!!!!).
The more black metal takes up angst and aggression impossible for all but males of a certain tender age range, the more I love it, but especially when it involves in a direct, fully tangible, antagonistic and arguably unprovoked astral warfare against and to finally dethrone The Holy Trinity (it's all fiction to me anyway but this is one of the most fantastic romantic notions I've ever run across).
I am _so_ in love with this record. It is beautiful and immaculate. Comparing to more traditional titles it's obvious that it would have been ridiculed, but I've long sought to re-own this before the more obvious choices. Having it in my possession, I suspect it will be one of those cuts I listen to daily for months on end. I welcome curse and shame for this!!666!23!!
