Beautiful pressing. I compared this nm repress to my nm UK '82 copy and they sound identical. The covers are identical in every way: colors, texture and thickness. The vinyl weight are the same. Only difference I can see, besides the inners, is this '86 press has the single press ring on labels as opposed to the 'deep groove' ring of the '82 press.

Quite a good pressing, it sounds just as dark as you want it to be, minor distortion in some tracks but barely noticible, infact it might just need a better clean. For the price, good one.

I rarely put on an OG pressing and can immediately tell it's the best sounding version of an album I've ever heard, but it was clear from the first few seconds that this version is incredible. Clear, penetrating sound and wide spectrum. Worth the extra investment if this is one of your favorite albums as well.

This is a great UK pressing and sounds really good. Actualy, this is the best sounding pressing that I know.

Banned for sale or not, this is an outstanding pressing of the amazing Pornography. I bought this in about 2015 as an upgrade or replacement of my Australian 1982 copy which always felt substandard with surface noise and some sibilance. When I opened it for the first time I looked at the centre label and wondered what the hell this release was. On my first listen though I was impressed. This version is flat and quiet and has such a wonderful depth. 100 years seems to have been remastered to bring Roberts guitar to the fore during the chorus. Not sure how you would go about buying a copy of this version, but it is certainly worth seeking out.

This amazing sound really great on this Dutch pressing. Very clear and dynamic. Nothing wrong with it and a whole lot cheaper than a UK pressing.

I just received this and can confirm this mastering sounds different from others that I own (W. German, '88 Elektra and '05 deluxe). Drums are an assault and the entire recording is considerably more dynamic in comparison. Very crankable, too. This is the one to own.

An affordable and nice sounding pressing of this essential album!

It came a little dirty out of the sleeve, but that’s not too dramatic. My copy does have a significant dishing, although it doesn’t affect playback.
