someone who should have been a one hit wonder but kept trying.referencing Black Meaning Good (LP, Album) 849 662-1
Loved this LP, no one quite creates such a melting pot as the Rebel MC. Little T on this album is not Natasja Saad, rather Anthony Robinson aka Tubby T.- Edited 13 years ago

Highly creative and forward-thinking album from the guy who didn't really want to be a pop star (even when his hit was as joyous as "Street Tuff"!). Another one somewhat sidelined for years whilst UK hip hop looked to go as earnest & purist as possible, and although the themes are highly interesting, I have to admit that some of the lyrics haven't aged well. This is more than made up for though by the reggaefied proto-junglist backing tracks, with input from people like DJ Ron and a host of credible reggae guests. Felt like people just didn't get it at the time, but he got his audience in the end as ragga jungle went worldwide and he rightly got locked onto as one of the kings of it.
