Anyone know where the "now this is the original raggamuffin sound" sample (towards the beginning of the track) comes from? I remember hearing it in its full, original form (separate to this track), but can't remember where.referencing Tribal Base (12", 45 RPM, Single) WANT X 44
I have a vague recollection of seeing this on Top Of The Pops (UK chart rundown show on BBC) at the time and thinking it sounded completely different to everything else that was around. Nowadays Lenny D Ice, Shut Up And Dance, Ragga Twins get more recognition in that late 1990/early 1991 era but in a lot of ways this arrived as the more complete package.referencing Tribal Base (12", 45 RPM, Single) WANT X 44
Did this ever credit Enya's song Orinoco Flow? The sample is definitely the same.referencing Tribal Base (12") WANT X 44, 867 271-1
under rated tune which has always gone under the radar : - )referencing Tribal Base (12", 45 RPM, Single) WANT X 44
20 years on and this track still rocks
the dance floor every time it gets played out on a proper system. The quality of production on this record is
just so spot on it has all the right elements put together in just the right way for it to deliver a massive dose of breakbeat bliss that is sure to have you moving your feet. I give it a 10/10.- Edited 19 years ago

One of Michael West's standout but less commercial crossover tracks as Rebel MC, playable as hip house/house/dancehall/breakbeat, a fast pace, a sly enya sample and well used breaks combined with excellent lyrical cuts from three of the finest vocalists; Rebel MC, Barrington Levy & Tenor Fly.
