referencing Barcelona 1992 (LP, Album, Stereo) AMP-L 005
There was quite a buzz about this at the time, soundtrack to a thriller set at the upcoming Barcelona Olympics (good film too, seen more recently). Meeting Michel (for an interview) before a gig at the Planetarium in London, he was well pleased by the reaction this had got as it was quite different to his usual work under the guise of Neuronium. The UK release on AMP Records is technically the original, and he premiered some themes at that London gig. Peter Frohmader joined us too, as he was in London at the time, and he was quite impressed. As always, I hear quite a bit of Vangelis influence in this, with smatterings of Schulze and Tangerine Dream.
