The Ed Banger era that Justice started was a very fun one but Jesus did all the bands/producers sound the same. The Bloody Beetroots at least had a very fun live which I am not able to say how much was pushing one button and how much it was pushing several ones, but it all smelled and quacked like an act done for 2AM slots at festivals. All ravey, the same bang of tricks that Justice popularised in their first singles, it was done for quick consumption and for quickly forgetting about them.

Which actually I think it's a pity. They really showed some craft in here. There are promises of more interesting sounds when they get closer to oldschool or house but in general they deliver a shouty collection which actually flows pretty well. Though, all in all, the highlight is the so tropey Warp 7.7 where the "feat Steve Aoki" is probably just one shout of that guy. The glissandos and synth pads really stomp in there without mercy.

I've had this on the shelf for quite a while. Why is it worth so much?
