The Boo Radleys – Everything's Alright Forever

I'd forgotten just how good this album was. I lost interest in the Boo Radleys by the time they made Wake Up Boo, but this album is heavily indebted to their label mates, My Bloody Valentine, and is essentially a highly underrated shoegaze album, which still has some of Martin Carr's pop song sensibilities before the band went all out to break the mainstream charts and make sickly, sweet songs like, Wake Up Boo.

My copy sounds pretty good, but this could have been a double with a better cut.
That aside it’s a very nice trip of a record that’s psychedelic/indie without being twee. Quality.

This sounds absolutely amazing! An incredible album that is full of aural treats. Highly recommend!

Not sure whether this was remastered from original source, but this sounds fantastic. For those of us who grew up listening to this on CD, listening to the vinyl will open up a new door to its magic sounds, very recommended!!

Very quiet pressing, hardly hear the surface noise .

The Spanish trumpets in "Spaniard" gives me chills...its so good. This is a solid record release. Very dynamic sounding, no surface noise, no defects... beautiful presentation/artwork, and the orange record looks great. We need "Giant Steps" next please!

"Hey, now thanks for stopping by, you know it was worth a try". Even if Everything's Alright Forever is a stream of delightful moodiness it is full of hopes for the future and enthusiasm of youth. It is full bloom shoegazing but also tentatively psychedelic and these shy steps and uncertain gestures in the direction of psychedelic rock in combination with often melancholic vocals in the style of sad Beatles songs makes Boo Radleys different from so many other shoegazing bands of that period. So listening to these unhurried, slowly flowing songs never fails to put me in agreeably nostalgic mood: "Come stab it faster, the demon that's inside me. That’s what you’re after, do it quick - hurt me".
