referencing Adrenalin EP (12", EP) CRE 124T
A fantastic EP of explosive shoegaze, where the effects never overwhelm the music, and everything is in perfect balance. The first track is the album version, hooky and punchy and over in a minute and a half. "Vegas" is winsome and airy, effortlessly melodic. It's a unique sound and part of what makes the band so special. "Feels Like Tomorrow" alternates between heavier and lighter sections, everything sweetened with melody. And then the final track, "Whiplashed," starts out mellow, picks up to a mid pace rocker, then erupts into a psychedelic cosmic catherine wheel of epic proportions before melting away into a setting sun...all in four minutes. It's heavenly stuff, and highly recommended.
