Blu Mar Ten – I'm Still Waiting / Tea & Sympathy

An obscure yet treasured Blu Mar Ten 12" of mine that I have revisited time-and-time- again over the years. Both sides exude the unique and lush arrangement of sounds typical of Blu Mar Ten from this period, before their musical path began to diverge from purely Drum & Bass. The melancholy sounds unwittingly capture a period of innocence before the world changed irrevocably only a few days later.

I remember visiting my local record shop where my friend Alex, who worked behind the counter, played this for me. After, what felt like, rather sparse output since their time at Good Looking, I was instantly smitten. Left behind in the bygone analogue era, these tracks are only available on this 12", and I can see prices for this increasing significantly in the coming years.
