I absolutely agree with what bladessportsman is saying here...The first two Scream records are full to the max with classics...Absolutely unreachable...
If you don't own a copy and plan on buying one my advice is the original first us versions on both of them...They sound the most fresh and vital in my opinion...- Edited 5 years ago

Forget about Dave Grohl please. The best Scream records came before him, including this ripper. Scream pulls from Bad Brains and UK stuff like the Clash, maybe a DC/HC take on Generation X's Valley of the Dolls? There are 70's hard rock influences too, but this record is in the sweet spot between rock anthems and catchy hardcore.
