The "Don't turn your back on me" vocals come from The Frontline Orchestra – Don't Turn Your Back On Me, which is an a amazing (and somewhat rare) disco track from 1981 that was part of Larry Levan's repertoire of classics he spun at the Paradise Garage.
It is perhaps my favorite TT track, which says a lot considering the man's quality and output. Just banging.

Don't Turn Your Back On Me (Halloween Mix) is Great often overlooked. (Funny Bone Popi) is really nice classic. A side kinda sucks but who cares B is so good.

Anyone here who can help out w an info on the original sound quality of the track? Bought ‘funny bone popi‘ mix as a digi file and it sounds almost as horrible as the YT-video-quality. Can't imagine Todd Terry made the original track sound that bad.

For me this "Don't Turn Your Back....Funny Bone Popi" is a historic!! I first heard it at Glastonbury Fest 1990 in the traveler's field outside of Glastonbury itself...Tonka Sound System and I think it was Harvey who played it. Anyway I had one of those "definitely the right trouser" moments...Aural sex at its finest! 88 - 93 Todd Terry couldn't do much wrong...Myself and my tailor salute you Sir Todd OBE!

Classic Todd Terry in the mix...I'm talking about the "Deep House Mix", which for me is the standout, and the track that was played at the time.
Trademark Todd beats and arrangement...in my opinion, one of his finest out of the many top tracks he's produced.
A hidden gem...if you're a Todd Terry fan, you should have this in your collection.
