"Dish N Tell" is a bit of a classic Techno / House track, just love those synths that create the energy & drive within the track, topped off with some cheeky Loleatta Holloway vocal snippets, big track back in its day, proper Old School track. Both the "Club Mix & Bitch Mix" are worth a listen, think the "Bitch Mix" takes it for me.

This CD release does not contain the original Club Mix featured on the vinyl release BANG 005
Why?! The Club Mix was the dancefloor anthem of the time.

Dish & Tell Loleatta works like no other, lets go! Hard hitting diva beats to the max. This is that "shut the runway down type of stuff" for sure.

Dish & Tell (Bitch Mix) is the original version made in 1990. The actual first demo mix was made by Gert van Veen, the remix with the vocals (Bitch Mix) was constructed by Eddy De Clercq together with Gert in his studio in Utrecht. The vocal samples came from an original acapella by Loleatta Holloway who used to perform this sort of speech live during her shows.

Is Dish & Tell (Bitch Mix) the original version? Or a 1999 version?

For those who wants to know, the Mars And Venus track is nothing more than a repeated long bleep synth effect, and the Flying Carpet Ride is only some rhythms and bass for all 3 and something minutes... DJ tools, probably.

the samples on this record come from what I believe was a rare live concert given by Ms. Loleatta Holloway at some NY underground club like Better Days or the Garage around the early 80's it was played only by the resident DJ (fill in the famous name here) for mixing purposes under the condition it would not be shared with anyone under ANY circumstances..however Junior Vasquez got ahold of it and released it as "Ellis-D - B2 My Loleatta (Scream Apella)" in 1988 (http://www.discogs.com/release/83641)

Absolute early techno house classic. This track has been remixed and sampled a few times. A remix of this was released on Go Bang! a few years later (late nineties?) It has that early house synth stabs staccato stylee, with early house beats, and classic cheering samples (I've heard these samples used many times - I don't know what they are from, but it sounds like they came from a SuperTramp concert! If you know where the samples come from, email me, I'd like to know.)
