- Half-Mute / Give Me New Noise : Half-Mute Reflected is a wonderfully warped release of Tuxedomoon's original mostly instrumental album remastered and reinterpretations of the original 'tunes' by talented avant-garde musicians. Recommended to all, my highest rating.

This album, along with "Holy Wars" and "Desire", are their best albums ever (to my ears). -
Questo album, insieme a "Holy Wars" ed a "Desire", sono i loro migliori dischi in assoluto (per le mie orecchie). - ...i often compare the importance of this album with "velvet underground &
nico", if you add the exploding power of tuxedomoon's four track-ep "no
tears" from 1978. a similar stimulating atmosphere has "big science"
of laurie anderson. this westcoast-no wave bands around ralph records
(residents, chrome, tuxedomoon, mx-80 sound) cannot be overrated. intense &
modernistic electronic pop with the feverish violin of blaine reininger... referencing Half-Mute (LP, Album, Stereo) CEL 2-6558
I’ve had this Celluloid pressing before. The sound quality is thin and shrill. Condensed sound.
I highly recommend the first press here:

First press on Ralph Records is warm, has depth and nice full range.
The Celluloid pressing is inferior and not worth purchasing in my opinion. Don’t waste your time.- One of the most unique and interesting groups I've ever known. Album to album you never really had any idea what you were going to get, but you knew it would be good. Half-Mute is one of their best. The compositions are slightly sinister and foreboding while also being entertaining and compelling. Most of these tracks are instrumental and yet say more than most songs can with lyrics. I considered this one of my favorite punk albums back in the 80s, but today I guess people would call it post-punk and/or experimental.

This version of the album also came in a US Round Ralph Records logo with Pink front Green rear sleeve with handwritten CEL 2 in rear right hand top corner.- Recorded in ‘79 this is really an impressive and important album! Ahead of Its time. Got jazz influences , with horns , but also synths and bass. Which makes it a classic new wave/indie album. To be honest ,the opener on side two, is almost like New Order before New Order. A must buy indeed.!
- The best remixes on the second CD of this special edition are : 07 "What Use" remix by Foetus, 08 "Volo Vivace" remix by Palo Alto with Steven Brown and Laurent Pernice, 11 "Tritone" remix by Aksak Maboul.

I´ve got a miss-pressed b-side with three songs of Jazz music!

Anybody heard of this one? referencing Half-Mute (LP, Album, Reissue) CRAMBOY 1010
in my copy, on B side, there are not Tuxedomoon halfmute tracks, but there are 3 tracks from Chet Baker & Warne Marsh "Blues for a reason"
