I have this as per release however completely unstamped and in inner sleeve only. From JJ Frosts collection so very original and likely first batch test pressing.

For anyone who is a fan of Project One's most famous track, 'Roughneck', then the 1992 'Roughneck EP' on vinyl is the one to own.

For those who have yet to hear this undisputed underground anthem, the 'Roughneck' is a joyously uplifting piece of jungle-hardcore with some inventive use of ragga samples combined with some infectious chatting from Nanisha, the daughter of one of the groups members. All of this is overlaid over some roughneck breakbeats, heavy dub sounds and the highlight of the track, a rush inducing 'merry-go-round', 4 note synth sound which gets your neck hairs standing. Another reason to grab the vinyl version is the fact that 'Roughneck' is stretched to an epic 9.24 minutes, as all of the versions on compilations are ground to a halt after the 'Stop the music' section. After a second of silence the track then launches into a seriously dubbed out excursion with a top, cheeky exclamation from Nanisha - 'Project One. Get on one!!!'. The only version of 'Roughneck' you'll ever need.

The A-Side is backed up by the equally excellent 'Smokin' Chalice' which continues on with the dubby hardcore vibe and the underwhelming 'The 3rd Vibe' which comes on in a house tip. An outstanding EP by all counts for A and B1.
