Wow, I've owned this for a few years and I am having a night tonight listening to records. I haven't listened to this in a long time and realizing how much surface noise there is. I tried cleaning it and all the static and pops are still there. I was so excited to finally get my hands on this when they had it for sale at the Masonic show in SF in 2018. Minorly disappointed at the quality now that I hear it more closely.

One of my favorite records from college. Post-70s vinyl can be kind of spotty in quality for various reasons, but Steve Albini-produced records sound consistently superb. Even if his old drums ahead, bury the vocals technique was pretty awful, still the soundstage and clarity of each instrument can easily be heard through the speakers. I digress, the Breeders sound great on this record.- This is a criminally underrated album. Its minimal and mellow for the most part with a very atmospheric production. One of their strongest efforts in my opinion.
