One of my all time favorite albums… And this isn’t even the type of music I generally listen to.referencing Bass Planet Paranoia (LP, Album) JMC-9003
DXJ's second album is also another Miami bass epic. From the cover art to the songs, you can see the P-Funk and EWF influence on this LP. Most of the songs are your typical Maggotron songs, full of great guitar riffs by Jose Martin, the kick drum of the 808 and a lot of crazy samples. Pillow Talkin Baby I would say is a departure from the genre. It sounds like those LL Cool J love raps. This would be DXJ's last breath of success as booty bass became more popular than party bass. It's a damn shame!!!
Peace!!!!
