Do all yellow-label Ode U.S. pressings contain the original mix? I understand that when the LPs with the orange Epic labels were issued, a new mix was used. Not sure what the full story is. Anyone know?
Honestly, I have a Pitman pressing and it has what seems like a slightly different mix than the Santa Maria pressing I have. Everything else is identical with the label and sleeve.

Anyone else have this with no break between song 2 and 3 on Side 1 (it's one continuous track) and the grooves all the way to the label on side 2. All my other copies are not like this one.

Just got a sealed copy of this and it's distorted and siblilant in most of the peaks. Not sure if it's the cutting/pressing/mastering, I'm not sure where the cause stems from, but not too happy. My old crackly OG pressing sounds better in that regard.

I have a a RE copy of this with the same matrix numbers, but it is a gatefold, and given the outer and inner sleeves, appears to have been pressed at QRP.

QRP didnt exist back in 2002 I dont think. Are you sure the runouts are exactly the same or a little different? Could it be this one:

Please Note: ALL 3 of the Original Spirit ODE releases WERE issued on CASSETTE Tape with the ODE Cassette prefix number of Z16-. I HAD them and can attest to the fact they DID exist (but were ONLY issued in very small quantites... in late 1969, when Columbia/Epic (who distributed ODE) issued their first Cassette Tape releases)

This "mono" version is certainly a fold down given the fact that no true mono mix of this record exists...
