A similar synth loop sample was used in "Reese - You're Mine (Detroit Mix)" that is available on Rhythm Zone Vol. 1 LP. I am wondering now if Norman has sampled this track? Sounds very close, if not the same, to me.

One of my all time favourite Manchester tunes of all time even though this is from Italy (as far as I'm aware!) Massively played in The Hacienda back in the day!!

This tune has everything, great piano line, amazing vocals, big old school organ riffs put together to create this great classic.

Norman Cook at his most brilliant, turning the soggy original into a pitched handclap battle that stops only writhing elastic-band breakdowns. And it bears no similarity whatsoever to Fatboy Slim. In fact, it's closer to the minor-key chord changes of The Housemartins.
