- Right at the crossroad of Techno-trance and pop, this is one of the gems of the early 90 that mixed uplifting mood with rave spirit. Sublime vocals that never go cheesy, on an energetic bassline, and then comes the acidic synth. This is an absolute classic. Beyond the original version on side A, the Fever Called Love (London Mix) has an interesting different style, more breakbeat and UK Hardcore feel. Love it Too. And I can't avoid thinking the cover art was a funny reference to The Rolling Stones - Tattoo You. Striking on every level.

Another great release from R&S great set of mixes on this 12", "Original" mix is the one for me on this release. I just love the bassline and the way the track builds with the vocal, then comes the acid riff and the track picks up a gear, building further as the piano drops in for a short period, dropping back into the acid riff that builds slowly creating a melodic & hypnotic vibe. "London Mix" kicks in with a tougher vibe with its breakbeat and synth loop, leading to more chilled section with a spoken vocal and strings giving it quiet a different feel, but as that fades out incomes a tougher synth rave type loop, which toughens further as the track progresses. "Alt Vox Mix" again utilises the breakbeat, but uses the vocal more. Plenty of other mixes / release to choose from too. - The main mix is the mix Dj Vertigo played throughout the early 90s, contrary to what ive seen on tracklistings on the net suggesting he played the original, great track and really sweet vocals

originally purchased back in 1991...2 year later re released.... I tried a few of the re release (1993 CD's) the original mix has a mastering error jump/noise (the R&S version from 1991 is fine) not only that it was mastered on a nasty UK bronzing P.D.O disc... like many very early 90's CD's that were still churned out until around 1995.
with this and the mastering error equals double sloppiness one of the finest tracks produced! but I wouldn't P??s on this disc if it was on fire I would let it burn like all the UK PDO discs.
get the one mastered on the superior DADC pressing from 1991 on R&S.
and avoid this pile of c??p. - A track that truly defines the spirit of the dance scene at the time it was released. Hardfloor's remix of 'Fever called love' blends the uplifting melodic dance of the early 90s with the emerging acid sound of the harder techno scene that was still emerging at this time. This is a big statement, but this track IS Hardfloor's best remix. I challenge any dance fan to listen to this without getting goosebumps…
- A great song, never mind the rest of it!
I've caused riots playing this tune and even now, I'd have no hesitation playing it now for fear of sounding outdated. It's magical and Plavka's vocals are perfect. She adds a soulful edge that many female dance vocalists lack.
It builds and build and builds and just when you don't think you can handle much more of it, you slam the bass right back in and boom, there it's there.

The Hardfloor remix is one of those perfect fusions between techno and house. Whenever I want to play this, I could fit this anywhere into a house set or at the beginning of a techno set that would lean to the uplifting realm. This remix set off a whole slew would take the title of "Remix Kings" for a while during those golden days between 1993 & 1995.
