However good Bass Generator is with its deep booming bass and vocoder action, Ignition (747 Mix) is my preferred track on this release and joint favourite Dynamix II track with Just Give The DJ A Break (Dub Mix). Heavy, heavy tunage.

One of the deepest, darkest, toughest 12"s from Dynamix II, perhaps my personal fave- and that's saying something, considering 'Don't Touch That Dial', 'Give The DJ A Break' and 'Techno Bass'. Highly intelligent, devastating robo-funk thats hardly rivalled to this day... Ouch & Good God- its a Miami Bass Banger!

Undoubtly one of the best Electro Bass records to come out of Miami... Period! Both sides are rockin'. Nice clean deeeeep bass, simple bassline and thee almighty vocoder. On the A-side "Bass Generator"...forget it, play this track to an Electro crowd and they will lose it. Everytime I think of Dynamix II this is definitely one that comes to mind. More specifically a line from the robot trance-inducing-voice that says "with this low frequency can cause devastation..." and it sure does. The B-side "Ignition" everytime I hear it I involuntarily start poppin'& lockin' and with enough space in the area, I hit the floor. A must have for all dj's. A timeless classic.
