      Is this 45 supposed to sound like shit? Because mine does. NYMD is somewhat listenable, but ICSN is just horrible. The songs are fantastic though.

      Edit: the copy I was referring to was actually a styrene copy, unbeknownst to myself at the time. However, I got a new copy, non-styrene, that was sounded better in comparison, but still very bassy, and because of it, distorted. Was this mastered to be so or is it likely just worn out? I doubt it was mastered as such, but maybe it was like the Capitol Beatles albums; mastered to sound good on the thin-sounding, cheap turntables that the kids had.
