Sounds great - the picture looks crisp and clear, looks amazing spinning. No defects!
This picture disc is very noisy. Lots of pops and surface noise. I was disappointed for the price and being an anniversary pressing. Not worth the purchase if you already have this album.
I have most of The Cure’s RSD picture discs and I’ve gotta say this might be the noisiest one. Not surprising for a picture disc but theirs usually sound pretty good for the most part. Still it doesn’t sound too bad and doesn’t take away from the music. I have no regrets buying it. Most days I call this my favorite Cure album.

Can anyone who bought this verify if Piggy In The Mirror plays at the correct speed and pitch?

compre una copia no muy usada disco (vg) con tapa (VG+), sobre interno (g-) PERO... EL MARAVILLSO TRACK "BANANAFISHBONES" (B-4) esta desafina casi seis tonos abajo..... debo subirlos con el pitch.... jajaj hace que suene mejor ese track si... pero... tambien da la impresion que es 100% analogico, creo un error asi no ocurre con un master o DAT digital del año 87... si alguien tiene alguna copia que me confirme.....
I bought a not very used copy of the record (vg) with cover (VG+), insert (g-) BUT... THE WONDERFUL TRACK "BANANAFISHBONES" (B-4) is out of tune almost six tones down..... I must upload them with the pitch... hahaha it makes that track sound better yes... but... it also gives the impression that it is 100% analog, I think an error like that does not happen with a digital master or DAT from the year 87... If anyone has a copy, please confirm...referencing The Top (LP, Album) FIXS 9
I've just checked my copy & the inscriptions in the dead wax are incorrect/incomplete. I'll update the notes. The record is also translucent under a strong light. I'll try to get a photo to put up.

A fantastic pressing of an underrated classic by The Cure. Currently my go-to version of this album.
This series of Japanese SHM-CDs are the best digital versions of the early Cure albums available.
Sadly they now command $$$
Anybody know why Disintegration hasn't been released on SACD or SHM-CD???referencing The Top (LP, Album) 821136-1
