Agree with Marcellus. Wasn't too impressed with this one. Bobby and Phillip weren't really singing out front as much, and that's what made Switch so special. I don't think they had come into their own at this point. Also, of note, Tommy wasn't in the group yet. referencing White Heat (LP, Album, Stereo) APL1-0853
Just when I though I had collected all of his albums, thos one come up..one to add in the future to my collection only when someone decides to issue a CD ...please?referencing White Heat (LP, Album, Stereo) APL1-0853
Only track A4 (Talkin') is a nice downtempo funky track, the rest is just too cheesy for me.referencing White Heat (LP, Album, Stereo) APL1-0853
The funkiest Barry White production, ever ... ... ... ...referencing White Heat (LP, Album) SF 8423
This album has 8 tracks, and all 8 are supergroovy!!!
Great funk with jazzy influences and smooth soul where you can hear that Mister White himself was behind the knobs.
It's very rare to find an album with all good tracks. Well this is one!
The production by Barry White is very high standard, a good balance between the vocals and the instruments!
Sax, Guitar, Bass, Organ and heavy pounding Drums, it's all there. If you like 'War' and 'Cymande' you will love this one!
To bad they only have one album!
