My copy is noise free and of much better sound quality than the first paper thin Grunt issue. Rings out of both channels with a renewed clarity. Not sure why the blue transparency though!
Though the label doesn’t state it, the timeframe and the fact that Grunt was an RCA subsidiary means that this is a Dynaflex pressing - very flimsy! Plays fine, though.
This album is wonderful. Jazz, swing, and R&B & Folk Violin. It's eclectic. But wonderful.

Have owned two copies of this reissue. First was a pretty rough pressing - lots of noise and even a couple scratches, even after a wet cleaning. Second copy is much, much better. Still some noise, which is expected with colored vinyl, but not enough to detract from the playing, which is very good throughout.
I waited 46 years to buy this LP. Wish I had bought it 46 years ago.
