Hay Fever is a frigging track. not sure why this is not in more demand. this thing took down Florida clubs back in the day. I played it many times at Simons.referencing Petal (12", 33 ⅓ RPM) GODX 118
I remember hearing it on MTV, To show us what the next programs.
And I wanted to know what the name of the song was.

A classic revived with a heap of new renditions, Wubble-U's stand out hit 'Petal' is given a second gasp of life with this 98' release. Originally a 94' cult club hit, this delightful summer acid trip was re-worked to promote the release of their only album 'Where's Wubble-U?' and managed to even scrape the charts. Joined once again by the veteran comedian Stanley Unwin this pang of electronic nostalgia came at a time when this style of dance had already been replaced by harder genres, but it's childish nature managed to get it noticed around the more pop centred scene. With a host of worthy remixes from the likes of Freestylers and Fontaine & Verne 'Petal' gets the attention it rightfully deserves as a silly little ditty for the pixies of clubland to fawn over. referencing Petal (12", Promo) DOLE80
This is not a promo, nothing on the label says it and it comes in full release sleeve, again with no mention of Promo.referencing Petal (12", 33 ⅓ RPM) GODX 118
I love this tune and it still makes me smile today, I have no idea why I think it just has such a happy funky vibe. All the elements just seem to come together so well even the Stanley Unwin vocal samples, there’s a great organ riff driving nearly all the way through it that interweaves with so many different elements throughout the track. English Rose is the mix from me, and quiet a big tune back in its day, it kind of reminds me of a prefect summers day ! Probably not for everyone, but I like it.referencing Petal (12", 33 ⅓ RPM) GODX 118
Still able closing my eyes to appreciate that endless gentle riff , the piano seems to turn you around and around. You could not escape this song on late winter 1994, it was everywhere in Italy.
What makes it such a great record is the simplicity of the melody and its riff , appearently birds are singing and everything around smiles at you taking your arm and making you move .A prominent and quite hard kick drum accompany the song in the typical hard-house style.
"she loves me ? she loves me not "

Probably my most favourite trance/house anthem featuring lyrics of the late Stanley Unwin. A pure summer track with some gorgeous harmonies and a very addictive hook.
