A-side remix by Kruder & Dormeister is sublime and timeless and one that has to be heard on vinyl. The remixes on the flipside are pretty forgettable and one wonders how they made it to the final cut as they are so far removed from the original track but the K&D effort is premier league low-fi electro with nods to Portishead but with more bite. Highly recommended.

An excellent single. The single remix is actually superior to the album original, with tighter drums and guitars higher in the mix. The Escape From Wherever: Parts 1 & 2! remix brings an excellent atmospheric ambient start followed by a juxtaposed "grungy electronica" (does such a genre exist?) second half. Certainly one of DM's best - and underrated - releases.
