Ranges continues to plug away with top-notch talent on its roster. Dubatech is newest artist to present a full length release on the burgeoning label. Titled 'Presence', this 10 track long player is sure to create a buzz and garner favorable reviews throughout the hardcore dub community. In the past, Dubatech's has had key works on various labels like Baum and ODrex Music while he has also released on the highly regarded Silent Season and Shimmering Moods Records under his ambient alias Fatih Tuter. With a name like Dubatech, he has no problem in living up to that name. 'Padding Dub' & 'Liquid in Trance' certainly do that and then some. Smooth washes of crisp chords at a brisk pace make for some ideal mixing moments in a house or techno set. Prime examples like 'Where Night Ends' & 'People Master' exude a classy detroit touch that is as soulfull as they are futuristic. The Carl Craig-esque 'Outro Latern' certainly springs that to comparison to mind while 'Subspace' is sure to please the deep-tech fans of the style.
