Seem to be mixed reviews on this and the Ziggy Stardust 50th anniversary pressings. I was so impressed with the sound of the ZS 50th version that I picked up a copy of this and it is also superb. My copy is flat, centered and very quiet, as with the ZS 50th. I haven't heard every version of this album, but I can say that this is the best version I have heard to date. You can obsess about acquiring an AAA version if you want. But this one really leaves nothing to be desired.

Looking for a jacket only, VG+ or better, this pressing or one similar.

brilliant pressing, sounds amazing. bowie repressings are on another level!

The music sounds great on this pressing. However, there is a sound in between tracks that almost sounds like wind blowing. Does anyone else have this issue?

Sounds a bit too polite - like the music’s hard edges were smoothed over - mastered low volume, but fortunately the vinyl is quiet, though unfortunately, it’s warped - like many of the current pressings. Optimal isn’t that great anymore.

I'm amazed how great this sounds 🤯 I have been lucky to get a cheap mint copy with Bilbo mastering and it sounds as a different album. The clarity and sound details are fantastic, much better than my first uk pressing. Highly recommend.

This is analog at its absolute best. This is crazy good. Detailed, punchy, clear, dynamic, it’s got it all. This is demo worthy. It’s that good.
